Meet Our Doctor
Dr. Floyd is from Mississippi and attended the University of Southern Mississippi where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. Following completion of his undergraduate degree, he attended Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and graduated with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree.
After completion of his medical degree, Dr. Floyd completed his three-year surgical residency training at Bethesda Hospital in Boynton Beach, Florida. While in residency training, Dr. Floyd treated all aspects of podiatric issues including foot and ankle fractures, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, diabetic limb salvage, and general podiatry. Dr Floyd’s residency training was comprehensive and included many medical specialties such as internal medicine, vascular surgery, dermatology, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, and others. While completing his graduate degree and postgraduate training, Dr. Floyd garnered the following honors and recognitions including:
- Chief Resident, Bethesda Hospital, Boynton Beach, Florida (July 2017- 2018)
- Dean’s Award (Cumulative 4.0 GPA), BUSPM (2011-2015)
- President’s List, BUSPM (2011-2015)

- Pi Delta National Podiatric Honor Society
Dr. Floyd currently is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), and the Florida Podiatric Medical Association (FPMA). Dr. Floyd is a board-certified member of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) and he is a board-qualified member of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle surgery and Foot Surgery.
Following residency, Dr. Floyd joined a private podiatric practice in his hometown of Magee, Mississippi where he worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings along with specializing in wound care. Dr. Floyd and his wife Emily returned to Florida to open up his own private practice so that he could deliver a more personable and family friendly podiatric practice to the community. In October 2019, Dr. Floyd started construction on Magnolia Foot Care in Clermont, FL.
Dr. Floyd lives in the surrounding Clermont community with his wife Emily, his dogs Bubba and Simon, and his cat Cicero. He enjoys cooking (specifically BBQ) and exercising in his free time. He loves the small-town feel of Clermont and looks forward to helping people in the community.
